Terms of Service

These terms apply when you create an account or use MowingMate. By signing up, you agree to them. If you don't, don't use the service.

What MowingMate is

MowingMate is an estimating tool. You enter a Queensland residential address; we return land size, aerial imagery with property boundaries, and the slope of the block, then calculate a mowing estimate from settings you supply.

Estimates are a guide, not a quote

The number MowingMate produces is an estimate generated from third-party property data and your own calibration settings. It is not a quote, not a contract, and not a substitute for your professional judgment. You are solely responsible for the prices you quote and the work you agree to do. We are not liable for a job you underquoted or a customer you lost.

Accuracy of data

Property data comes from Queensland Government sources and imagery providers. It can be out of date, incomplete, or wrong. Aerial imagery may predate recent landscaping, subdivision or building work. We provide it as-is and make no warranty about its accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose, beyond what the Australian Consumer Law requires and cannot exclude.

Coverage

The service currently covers Queensland residential standalone houses. It does not reliably cover units, townhouses, strata properties, rural holdings or commercial sites, and addresses outside Queensland are not supported.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and using MowingMate for a business or trade purpose.
Keep your login details secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
One account per business unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Don't scrape, bulk-extract, resell or redistribute the property data we return, and don't use automated tools to run lookups outside the normal interface.

Plans, lookups and billing

Plans are billed monthly in advance, in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST where applicable.
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of address lookups: Free 10, Solo 50, Growth 200, Pro 600. Allowances reset each billing month and do not roll over.
If you reach your allowance, you can upgrade at any time or wait for the next billing month.
There is no lock-in contract. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
We don't refund part-months, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires it.

Founding member terms

The founding offer is limited to the first ten accounts that take it up.
Founding members pay $2 per month for 50 lookups per month, and that rate is held for a minimum of 12 months from signup.
The offer is given in exchange for evaluation feedback on the product. We may contact you for that feedback; you're not obliged to respond, but the discount exists because of it.
After the founding period, founding members receive 50% off the standard rate of whichever plan they choose, for as long as their account remains active and in good standing without a lapse in subscription.
The founding rate is tied to your account and is not transferable to another person or business.

Changes to the service and pricing

We're actively building this, so features will change. We may adjust standard plan prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Founding member discounts continue to apply to the new prices.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, abuses the service, or fails to pay. You can close your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing us.

Liability

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those guarantees, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with MowingMate is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of that state.
